Art Introduction and Updates
Hello Everyone! Welcome back to our new Dev Log.
This time we want to introduce and show the art updates so far. Since there was a problem to using a geometric art style, we have decided to switch our art style to pixel art style. Even though we switched our art style, we thought that the game should be able to reach the same results as the same as using geometric art style.
What kind of results that we're looking for in geometric art style/pixel art style? The thing is, by using geometric/pixel art style, the game could entertain the player with simplicity and authenticity, but also inform the player without overwhelm them with tons of information.
So this is our current updates on the game arts that we thought are worth to publish as our Dev Log. Note that some of the other arts/sprites are not shown here, because some of them are not ready to be published
For the first picture, there's our main character looking at a shining castle beyond the hill. This scene probably are going to be included in the game. But for now, the picture will stay as a concept art
For the second picture , there's one of the enemy's sprite. His name is Raider and for now we're still developing on his movesets
For the third picture, there's our main character. His movesets are still in development. In the future, we are probably going to add more movesets to the main character.
